Another thing to look forward to about Daylight Saving Time? Jerks who take snowball fights way too seriously. (Getty) By the way, did you know it's actually "Daylight Saving Time"? That's OK. Everyone gets it wrong. For some reason that extra "s" has just become this really common colliquialism, but if you feel like being a dick for the next few weeks, correct everyone who you hear say "Savings" instead of "Saving." People hate being corrected about stuff like that.Hopefully at some point this whole "Daylight Saving Time" thing will be eliminated. That way no one will ever correct you again on that stupid "s," and no one will have to ask Google when Daylight Savings Time is a-comin' because there won't be any stupid Daylight Saving or Savings Time! Also, we won't lose an hour of daylight. Seriously, how depressing is it when the sun goes down at 4:30?! Did you know suicide rates go up in the winter? Especially around Christmas! It's crazy. Everyone is depressed because it's dark and cold and the sun is already down by the time you get off work.
Sorry, I don't mean to bum you out, but I'm just keeping it real. At least if you're a Christmas person you have something to look forward to.
