NASA Finds No Damage In Transit, After Two Rays


 Early data indicate the space shuttle Atlantis ready to be launched on Friday, escaped damage by two lightning strikes on Thursday afternoon, NASA said.

The bolt of a violent storm struck a tower of 515 meters from the keyboard, the second hit the nearby beach, the space agency said in a statement.
 Currently, the launch time of 11:26 on Friday, is unchanged, although 30% chance of favorable weather, according to NASA.

The rhythm is due to start at 02:01 on Friday. Above, the engineers is affected by flash system, the external tank, main engines and other components.

Atlantis is ready to do the last mission of the shuttle program for 30 years.

The board will be a four-person crew of astronauts led veterans to the International Space Station with a cargo of supplies.
